All the software has to do is look at the neighbouring pixels and make each "added extra pixel" an average of its surrounding to make the picture appear sharp.The more pixels that have to be added the worse the picture will appear. They look more like close captioning (white litters in a black box) opposed to the more detailed subs that the video normally plays on my PC and console though.

Esc to log out, then finally F11 to restart the host. Even with those problem mkvs that dont work on my consoles (btw, if I play them on my computer they work fine) they work as intended on my Sony TV. Alt-F2 will close the Unsupported Console returning you back to the black and yellow ESX Console.

Now, if decently written software was available to upscale that picture to Full HD (allowing for the black border either side as 320x256 is 4:3 and Full HD is 16:9) you'll still end up with a very pixelated picture because you're now going from a low resolution to a high resolution. Run that same game on today's modern TVs, like I do with my Amiga 1200 on my 37" LED TV, the picture looks very pixelated.
